About MI-ACET

The Michigan Advisory Committee for the Elimination of Tuberculosis (MI-ACET) is a group of representatives from both private and public agencies with an interest in the elimination of tuberculosis in Michigan. Most recently, the Committee has revised its 1995 Recommendations of the Michigan Advisory Committee for the Elimination of Tuberculosis.

The 2003 Recommendations of the Michigan Advisory Committee for the Elimination of Tuberculosis represents the group's efforts to provide the latest TB prevention and control strategies. The document contains a revised set of recommendations and strategies for a statewide coordinated approach to the elimination of this historic disease. The document is targeted at a broad audience of public and private health care professionals and has been prepared by representatives from those very groups.
